Today I take some of my morning time to share a one of my smoothie recipes (I take at least 3 banana smoothies per day). If you have a chance to go to Nature and forage some wild greens to put them into your smoothies, do it! Just be careful to choose some mild tasting and above all edible greens. Your smoothie, even if wild, should always be a pleasure to drink!
But voilà, my Recipe:
Wild Green Abel's Smoothie
- 6 large bananas
- 1 handful of spinach leaves
- 1 handful of stinging nettle leaves (just the first tender leaves)
- 5 dandelion flowers
- 1 cup of water
Put bananas, spinach, nettle leaves and petals of dandelion flowers (not all flower, just the petals!) into your blender, add some water and blend well! Enjoy

If you are not used to wild greens, chose some more flavourful smoothie base to replace bananas, like 500ml of fresh orange juice + 2 Golden sweat apples or 500ml of fresh orange juice and about 300g of papaya, keep the rest the same.
